The Eurabian Nights: Part 5

What is Eurabia?

Islamic militants want to turn the whole of Europe into a carbon copy of Saudi Arabia. In Saudi Arabia, life is governed by ‘Wahabism’, the richest and most extreme version of Islam in the world. If the extremists succeed, they will rename Europe – ‘Eurabia’. Such a scenario will be a utopia for the extremists and a nightmare for the rest of us. They must be stopped.

Hizb ut-Tahrir & Saudi Textbooks: The Spearhead of Eurabia?

We would be wrong to think that Saudi Arabia just specialises in domestic travesties of justice. Oh no, they wish to export their particular brand of Islamic law and justice so that the rest of the world can ‘enjoy’ life under the same kind of nightmare conditions that exist in Saudi Arabia. One of the main ways in which the Saudis do this is by funding Islamic terrorism, propaganda and extremism all across the world.

At a conference of the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, the Dutch Intelligence Service (AIVD) revealed that Saudi Arabia is funding a number of European departments of the militant Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir, an organisation that is believed to have a strategy of secretive jihad. According to one source, ‘the Saudis are still poised to play an active role in radically Islamic movements. They have great sums of money at their disposal, and it is difficult to refuse the Saudi dollars.’ In a 2004 AVID report, it was stated that: “Officially, Hizb ut-Tahrir claims to reject violent jihad, but its supporters have been involved in anti-semitic incidents and incitement to acts of violence in a number of European countries”. It regarded the group as ‘a threat’, because it seeks ‘to secretly promote violence through the cultivation of a radical and puritan form of Islam’. In Dutch cities with concentrated populations of Muslims, Hizb ut-Tahrir regularly spreads pamphlets regarding the creation of a global caliphate. Its Dutch leader was quoted as saying that ‘we reject freedom of speech, because we reject democracy’.

If Gordon Brown is truly committed to defending Britain and freedom, as he claims, then why does he ignore repeated requests to ban Hizb ut-Tahrir from operating in the UK, despite previously making a commitment to do so? In refusing to ban them, he protested that he didn’t have enough evidence to do so. Former Home Secretary John Reid MP, after carrying out two reviews of Hizb ut-Tahrir, backed up Gordon Brown’s cowardly decision, declaring in the House of Commons that “there was not sufficient evidence” to justify banning this fanatical organisation. Can you believe that this is the very same man whom the Labour government commissioned to set up their new arrangements for protecting us from terrorism? When John Reid made these remarks, he was surrounded by Labour MPs nodding their support. Upon finishing, one fellow Labour MP even shouted, “Well done!”.

Our enemies must have been laughing at the sight of such abject weakness and surrender. Perhaps Labour MPs would rather stay on the right side of the wealthy Saudis who fund Hizb ut-Tahrir than do right by the British people by protecting us from being killed.

Saudi Arabia also actively funds the spreading of Islamic propaganda. The content of Saudi Arabian produced textbooks (which are exported to Britain and other western countries) can be quite shocking to non-Muslims who have grown up in the west. As you leaf through some of them, you will find references to Jews and Christians being ‘swine’, ‘apes’ and ‘condemnable’. Jews are blamed for the start of World War 1. They insist that Jews conspire to take over the world, and that on Judgment Day “the rocks or the trees” will call out to Muslims to kill the Jews taking refuge behind them.

These ‘educational materials’ also espouse violent jihad. This is the kind of nonsense that those behind Eurabia want to teach your children in your schools so that one day they will bow the knee in a coming Single European Islamic State. It is time to stand up and say ‘no’.

The Ulster Defence League Opposes Eurabia

As an organisation that seeks to oppose Islamic extremism, the Ulster Defence League has issued a series of leaflets on the subject entitled ‘Eurabian Nights’. Let it be clear that we are not anti-Muslim, neither are we presenting an anti-Muslim thesis. We do not question the fact that there are moderate, peace-loving, law-abiding, hard-working Muslims living throughout Europe who are a credit to the nations in which they live. Like these moderate Muslims, we are not anti-Muslim, we are pro-freedom and therefore anti-Eurabia. If, like us, you believe that radical Islam must be stopped, please support the Ulster Defence League.
